How Does LED light therapy for skin care work?

You could compare LED light therapy for the skin with how light of the sun influences plants. Plants use a certain pigment substance to convert sunlight into cellular building blocks, which is like light therapy that stimulates your skin cells to create new proteins.

What is PDT?

Photo Dynamic Therapy (PDT) or LED (Light Emitting Diode) Phototherapy is a non-invasive rejuvenating skin treatment for areas of your skin that show signs of damage from aging, acne, sun damage, age spots and other causes. It allows you to target specific areas and gives very effective results.

1. RED LIGHT

This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. As a result, your skin becomes firmer, and the wrinkles and facial lines decreases.

More advantages of this red LED light are that it reduces inflammation, so the redness, of inflammatory revitalize skin cell and accelerate blood circulation

2. BLUE LIGHT

The Blue light wavelength attacks P-Acnes Bacteria producing singlet oxygen. This form of oxygen is very toxic to the P-Acnes bacteria that causes acne, therefore decreasing acne drastically with minimal downtime.

Blue light has a sterilization effect on the skin, and other advantages include reduction of secretion by the sebaceous glands, prevention of inflammation and calming.

3. GREEN LIGHT

This light will help diminish age spots or hyper-pigmentation from the sun. Over time hyper-pigmentation will fade and a more rejuvenated and even more complexion will be achieved.

Green light also has a very calming effect on sensitive skin and green is very relaxing on the mind and body.

4. YELLOW LIGHT

This light helps reduce redness from Rosacea and Couperose.
