Microneedling Treatments, explained…

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves the use of tiny, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production, which can improve the appearance of the skin.

The number of microneedling treatments needed can vary depending on individual skin concerns and goals. However, a typical treatment plan may include 3 to 6 sessions spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Some people may require more or fewer treatments, and maintenance sessions can be scheduled as needed to maintain results.

Microneedling can be used to address various skin concerns, including acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin texture.

During your first treatment, which takes about a half hour, Julie will analyze your skin and discuss the concerns and treatment options for your specific needs and goals. The needling is done in a sterile environment and the skin is cleansed and then prepped with alcohol. After treatment, Julie will apply highly nutritious serums followed by moisturizer and SPF. For optimal treatment of texture issues, a series of mild to medium chemical peels can be alternated.

Additionally, proper post-treatment skincare and sun protection are crucial for optimal results and recovery.
