What can you expect with Microneedling treatments?

First of all, what is Microneedling and is it better than Botox?

Microneedling is a procedure that involves using a device with fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates collagen and elastin production, promoting skin regeneration. It can improve skin texture, reduce scars, and address signs of aging.

Comparatively, Botox is a neuromodulator that temporarily paralyzes muscles, reducing the appearance of wrinkles caused by facial expressions.

Personally at 62 years of age, I will wait until I have no other option than to inject anything into my skin. Additionally, , it's basically made from the bacteria that causes botulism and when it wears off, it may leave a deeper line than before. So, I may never get that done.

However, regular microneedling treatments can potentially improve skin texture, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, minimize acne scars, and stimulate collagen production, resulting in a more youthful and radiant complexion.

However, individual results may vary. It can be compared to going to the gym. You won't see dramatic, immediate results but over time, the results are wonderful. And, like exercise, the skin won't need so many treatments once you've had 3-6 sessions about two to three months apart. Maintain at your own pace, depending on your skin and your home care*

In my professional opinion, Microneedling far outweighs Botox or filler injections.
